![]() The Berger Performing Arts CenterThe Berger Performing Arts Center BPAC was built in 1991 and dedicated in 1992, the Berger Performing Arts Center is a modern theatre mixing classic Southwestern architecture with state of the art amenities including pristine acoustics, an excellent line of site throughout the theatre and wheelchair accessibility. This 500-seat hall, located on the School for the Deaf and the Blind campus on the west side of town, has become one of Tucson's most popular venues for small orchestras, chamber musicians, folk music performers and dance troupes. Occasionally, it is used for corporate board meetings and scientific conferences. Acoustically, it has earned praise from noted musicians, quite an achievement in this age of questionable acoustic design. The BPAC is centrally located just one block west of Interstate 10 on the north side of Speedway. A non-profit theatre, the Berger Performing Arts Center hosts events ranging from school related functions (student concerts, staff presentations, meetings, etc.) to public and private events (graduations, musical and dance recitals, concerts, public meetings, etc.) and is an excellent multi-purpose concert hall and theatrical facility. Spacious seating, an excellent line of site throughout the house and superb acoustics make this hall one of the finest theatres in Tucson, Arizona. The Berger Performing Arts Center is located on the campus of the Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind at 1200 W Speedway in Tucson, Arizona.
