In search of a mission statement and a slogan the "Realtor of Champions popped into my mind. I was thinking of several of my clients being Olympic Champions, then I thought about my two sons being National NCAA Champions. Well Realtor of Champions fit then the importance of the statement hit. I have always felt that each and every human being is a champion, a unique one of a kind creation. That idea struck me as a key to the way I believe and want to do my business.

I believe each of us is special and should be treated as such. I want to coach each champion to believe in their uniqueness and reach for their goals. My goal is to make a difference and be a better person.

For 15 years I've been a Realtor because it's the career that brings together my chief interests: working with families, property, and construction.

Over the years I've sampled various occupations. After graduating from Colorado State University, I headed to Oregon to teach industrial arts. When Seth was born we moved to the family cattle farm in South Carolina and experimented with organic farming. When Martin was born we returned to the West. There we restored our Victorian home and built a new home, doing much of the work ourselves. During the early 80's I was a foreman on a 5,000-acre cattle ranch in central Idaho.

After a few years we returned to Oregon. I worked as a a financial advisor for a while, but realized that real estate had been my most interesting and rewarding work. I renewed my license and have been a Realtor ever since.

Our sons' swimming schedule has set our schedule and travel for the last 12 years, but that will change now with their graduations from the University of Arizona. We look forward to visiting them as they travel and work, but I plan to get my workshop in shape to do more craftwork. I really enjoy wood working(building classical guitars), and have done some sculpting and lost wax casting.
