Mature, traditional-style course with tree lined fairways, established in 1960. The Santa Cruz River that flows year-round passes through the course adding natural water hazards. Near the original presidio (or fort) Apache raids forced the residents to move north approximately 20 miles to establish the "Old Pueblo" presidio, Tucson. The style of play at Tubac is relaxed and unhurried.
