San Ignacio Golf Club, Green Valley's newest public golf facility, is an outstanding championship layout designed by Arthur Hills. Measuring 6,704 from the professional tees, 6,288 from the champoinship tees, 5,865 from the regular tees, and 5,200 from the forward red tees. Accomplished golfers will appreciate the challenge from the back tees, requiring solid tee shots that must carry as many as 175 yards to clear the desert between the tee box and the fairway. The design of this course requires intelligent course management and encourages accurate shotmaking. Landing areas are tight, although clear and out of trouble, while the fairway bunkers and mounding catch only errant shots, and give direction and flow from tee to green.

San Ignacio offers smooth Penncross bent-grass greens, Bermuda fairways, and four beautiful lakes to challenge your game. With the variety of tee boxes, the unique hole designs, the numerous small mounds, and the changes in elevation found here, players of all abilities will find San Ignacio a scenic, fun, and very challenging course. The risks and rewards are the same for players of all levels and played from the appropriate tee, the challenges are fair to players of every level.
